Teriyaki Tofu

Our teriyaki marinade is made from scratch so you can avoid all the nasty additives and sugars that are often found in store-bought sauces. It's so easy to make, healthier, and just as delicious (if not more). You can use the recipe for our Crispy Tofu first or just use firm tofu straight from the packet.

  • 300g crispy tofu
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 Tbsp tamari
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • Thumb sized piece of fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • Pinch of chilli flakes or 1/2 fresh (deseeded)

  1. Add tamari, honey, sweet chilli sauce, ginger, garlic and chilli to a medium sized bowl and mix well until fully incorporated.
  2. Add coconut oil to a medium sized over a medium-high heat. Add marinade to the hot pan followed by the crispy tofu. Reduce to a medium-low heat.
  3. Stir to coat each tofu piece in sauce.

  • You can also use firm tofu straight from the packet, make sure to drain excess liquid from the tofu. Cut tofu into cubes and add to the marinade. Add marinated tofu to the hot oil and cook for 3-4 min or until the marinade is sticky and the tofu is coated.
